James Smith started working with his family's construction business in his early teens learning different trades and skill sets, and developing a desire and talent for masonry. He was sponsored and apprenticed into Union membership and completed all OSHA safety requirements. After 18 years as a Brick-Mason Union worker, “Smitty” left to be his own boss.
